De bedenker van de ‘Gossip Girl’ Josh Schwartz heeft via zijn twitter laten weten dat er niets waar is van de roddels dat Blake Lively van plan is de serie te verlaten.

Er is een franse poster verschenen van Blake’s nieuwste film “The Town”.

Gossip Girl star Blake Lively is reportedly threatening to quit the show.

According to Heat magazine, the actress has become tired with constant behind-the-scenes arguments and wants to kill off her character Serena Van Der Woodsen.

An unnamed source said: “Blake has asked producers to kill off her character. She’s tired of working on the show. It was great at the beginning, but she’s started to get bored of her storylines and all the petty fights on set.

“Nearly all the cast members have had some kind of bust-up. Besides the fact that she gets to work with her boyfriend [Penn Badgley, who plays Dan Humphrey], Blake wants to leave.”

Lively has reportedly asked for a “dramatic exit” and has made suggestions to the show’s producers about how Serena could die.

Gossip Girl returns to The CW for a fourth season on September 13.

Blake was afgelopen week op de San Diego Comic Con ter promotie van haar nieuwe film ‘The Green Latern’, met MTV sprak ze over haar nieuwste film. Foto’s hiervan zullen later nog volgen.

Ryan Reynolds likes his “Green Lantern” costume, and his co-star Blake Lively likes the tension she gets to be a part of as his love interest and rival Carol Ferris. The “Gossip Girl” actress teased that she looks forward to becoming a “villain” during the San Diego Comic-Con “Green Latern” panel, and she thinks the relationship between Hal and Carol will buck Hollywood trends by having her save him on occasion, but she also thinks “Green Lantern” will stand out among superhero films thanks to its settings on Earth and in outer space.

“Yeah, you do get to see outer space — that’s what’s so nice about it,” Lively told MTV News. “You know, in superhero movies it’s either in a specific city on planet Earth or in space, but the fact that you get to go back and forth is something that’s a unique thing that you haven’t seen in many movies.”

As for her character’s relationship with Hal Jordan, Lively also enjoys their onscreen competition.

“She’s [Hal Jordan's] boss,” Lively said. “She’s also a fighter pilot. She’s only second to him; they’re the number two fighter pilots in the world, so she’s also his rival, and so it creates a really interesting dynamic and a cool tension.”
